Smooth.
Crossfade between delay taps while keeping audio in the shared feedback buffer. Change the timing without Tape’s deliberate pitch sweep.
A DELAY WITH SOMEWHERE TO GO.
Eighths for the groove. Two bars of space. Sixteenths on the way back. Map the journey with Toaster.

01 / THINK IN PHRASES
One delay changes time at the points you choose. Set up to 16 points across a 64-bar pattern, then let your session move it forward.
Eighth-note repeats.
250 ms between repeats.
Shown at 120 BPM. The plugin follows your DAW’s tempo. The pattern can loop or hold its last timing.
02 / TWO WAYS TO MOVE
Crossfade between delay taps while keeping audio in the shared feedback buffer. Change the timing without Tape’s deliberate pitch sweep.
Move the read head and hear the pitch bend as the delay time changes. Set the transition from a quick flick to a two-second glide.
03 / LESS TALK. MORE ECHO.
A dry test pulse, the programmed Smooth sequence, then Tape. Audio rendered through the plugin’s actual delay engine.

FROM THE STUDIO / AUBREY FRY
“What if the delay could change with the arrangement?”
The idea behind Toaster, paraphrased from Aubrey’s original brief.
A timing change after sixteen bars. A longer repeat at the turn. A tighter rhythm as the next phrase arrives. Toaster grew from that simple studio idea.
04 / THE BETA ROOM
The original build passed Audio Unit validation and Aubrey’s first Logic test. The wider host and installation tests come next.
BETA IN PREPARATIONWe’re preparing a Mac beta for 10–20 producers, starting with a smaller first group. Compatibility and commercial licensing are being checked before wider distribution.
The plugin is not yet available to buy or download publicly. Test reports are downloaded locally for invited testers to share directly with Aubrey.
Universal Mac AU and VST3 builds; mono/stereo; 12 timing divisions from 1/32 to 4 bars. The original AU passed CI validation on Intel macOS 15. Exact supported host/OS combinations remain to be established. Windows is not available. Use constant time signatures in this beta.
There is no release date yet. A £29 introductory price and £49 regular price are being considered for a one-off purchase. These are proposed prices, not a current offer. Sales will open after beta testing and release preparation.
